Jai Ho is a 2014 Indian Hindi action drama film directed by Sohail
Khan and produced by Sohail Khan alongwith Sunil Lulla, starring Salman
Khan and newcomer Daisy Shah along with Sana Khan and Suniel Shetty in
major roles. The film has Tabu playing Salman's sister while Danny
Denzongpa plays the main antagonist. The film is a remake of 2006 Telugu
film Stalin starring Chiranjeevi and was released on 24 January 2014.

Jai Ho, which released in 4,400 screens in the domestic market, is one of the most awaited Hindi movies and it has had huge amount for its opening day. Besides this, the Salmania, which is currently at its peak, has managed to drive unprecedented crowd of viewers towards the theatres screening the film across the country. In many place, film goers were seen eagerly waiting to buy tickets in wee hours. The Salman Khan and Daisy Shah starrer has registered 95-100% occupancy in both multiplexes and single screens in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi and Ahmadabad. When compared to the cities, the response for Jai Ho was bit lower at the cities in North India, where the movie has got an average of 70%-85% occupancy in the morning and matinee shows. Its business is expected to grow up in the later shows.
