As per reports of September 20, 2011, Aashiqui 2 was announced. Director Vishal Mahadkar was earlier supposed to direct the sequel to Aashiqui. Later, Mohit Suri opted to direct the film. Aashiqui 2 is set in modern day with modern tales of love and is scripted by Shagufta Rafiqui. Soon after the announcement of the movie, post the scripting, there was a rumor of Tiger Shroff (son of Jackie Shroff)as the lead actor. But T-Series and Bhatt camp finally announced the lead hero would be played by Aditya Roy Kapoor and the lead actress will be Shraddha Kapoor, daughter of actor Shakti Kapoor. The movie was initially scheduled to release by the end of 2012 and later for then for Valentine 2013 release. However, due to the immense popularity of the song "Tum Hi Ho", the makers preponed the release to 26 April 2013.The film went on floors in October 2011 with scenes shot in Cape Town, South Africa. Eep is a girl in a family of Neanderthal Cavemen (Homo sapiens neanderthalensis) living and hunting in pre-historic times, talking about how her family is one of the few to survive nearby, mainly due to the strict rules of her overprotective father, Grug. When in their cave home, Grug tells a story to the rest of the family which includes his wife Ugga, his daughter Sandy, his son Thunk, and his mother-in-law with a character that mirrors Eep's curious nature. He uses this story to warn the family that exploration and 'new things' pose a threat to their survival, and says to never not be afraid. This irritates the bored and adventurous Eep, and when the family falls asleep after dark, she ignores her father's advice and leaves the cave when she sees a light moving outside the cave. He is joined by the rest of the family, who Eep then tells them about Guy and shows them the shell given to her, only for them to destroy it in fear of 'new things'. An earthquake then occurs, sending everyone running for the cave, only to be stopped by Grug moments before the cave is destroyed by falling rocks. When they climb over the wreckage to discover a land with lush vegetation, much different from their usual surroundings of rocky terrain. Grug takes his family into the deep forest to find a new cave.As they are about to reach their destiny, an earthquake opens a deep ravine in their path. Grug throws each of them across the gap and reconciles with Eep, but is left behind. He takes shelter in a cave and makes a torch. After seeing a large blank rock face, he paints a large cave-drawing of the Croods and Guy together. He then encounters Chunky, who proceeds to attack him until the torch is accidentally blown out, panicking them both. The newly reformed Chunky lies near Grug where he has an idea. He then uses a skeleton carried by the piranhakeets to transport himself, Chunky, Douglas, and several other animals across the revine barely escaping the oncoming "end" destruction. He and the whole Crood family settle down in a paradise-like environment, and Grug invents the first hug with Eep. Grug becomes less protective, letting the family be more adventurous and risk-taking, and gaining some pets, thus bringing happiness to them all and ride out towards the sun for "Tomorrow.

 Wirkola got the idea to create a film based on the adult lives of Hansel and Gretel in 2007 while at film school in Australia. After being discovered by Gary Sanchez Productions, Wirkola pitched the idea at a meeting with Paramount Pictures and won a contract. Filming began in March 2011 and included extensive use of traditional special effects. In addition, Renner and Arterton had a month of training before hand to prepare for the physical demands of their roles. In terms of the weapons and wardrobe, Wirkola wanted an old-world look with a modern touch and he was adamant about filming outdoors in European nature rather than in a studio. It premiered in North America on January 25, 2013, in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D, as well in D-Box motion theaters and select international 4DX theaters, and was rated R in the United States. Mainstream critics generally panned the film, particularly for what they saw as its weak script and gratuitous violence. Detective Taylor Kwon (Sung Kang) arrives in New Orleans to investigate Greely's death and meets Lieutenant Lebreton (Dane Rhodes), who informs him Lola confirmed Greely was assassinated. Kwon goes to the morgue and, after seeing Blanchard's body and finding out who he is, he deduces that Blanchard and Bobo killed Greely. Meanwhile, Keegan meets with his employer, lawyer Robert Morel (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), and Morel's associate Marcus Baptiste (Christian Slater). Baptiste reveals that Greely tried to blackmail Morel, and provided local mobster Baby Jack (Douglas M. Griffin) with a file detailing Morel's illegal operations. Keegan later kills Baby Jack and his men and retrieves the file. Kwon meets with Lieutenant Lebreton to ask for him help, but Lebreton tries to kill him, as he is also on Morel's payroll, but Bobo kills him and saves Kwon. Meanwhile, Keegan learns about Lisa and kidnaps her. Morel then calls Bobo and offers to trade Lisa for the flash drive. Bobo agrees, and meets with Morel in an abandoned warehouse, where he delivers the flash drive to him and rescues Lisa, while Kwon infiltrates the building to arrest Morel. Keegan becomes furious when Bobo is allowed to leave and kills Morel and his men before going after Bobo.

Keegan confronts Bobo and they have an axe fight, which ends with Bobo slashing Keegan's throat with Blanchard's knife, followed by Kwon shooting Keegan in the head. Kwon retrieves the flash drive and Bobo shoots him in the shoulder to make it appear as if Kwon failed to capture him. Lisa decides to stay with Kwon, with whom she initiates a romantic relationship, and Bobo leaves. He later meets Kwon at a bar, where Kwon tells him he did not mention Bobo's existence to the police this time, but if Bobo continues in the business, Kwon will take his down. The film's first shooting schedule began on 5 November 2011 in Mumbai for 15 days, wrapping up on 20 November. Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt was in talks to join the cast of the film, but he dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. The second schedule commenced on 23 January 2012 in Mumbai. However, Deepika dropped out within six days of filming because the film was always being rescheduled. The film's producer Ramesh Taurani released a statement to the media deeming Padukone's behavior as "unethical, unprofessional and unacceptable" Also, it was reported that Nargis Fakhri was offered the role to replace Kapoor, although it has been rumoured that she declined the offer, thus, avoiding any controversies regarding her and Kapoor However, Deepika Padukone and Taurani agreed on a settlement after much negotiation and the filming continued as planned. Jacqueline Fernandez, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone joined the cast in May at Istanbul for the third schedule. On 7 October 2012, shooting for the film was completed. The film's shooting was set to begin on 5 October 2011 but was postponed to accommodate Deepika Padukone's dates causing scheduling conflicts with Sonakshi Sinha. Sinha's dates conflicted with her filming schedule for Dabangg 2 (2012), forcing her to drop out. In October 2011, Jacqueline Fernandez who had opted out Krrish 3 & Raaz 3 was cast as a replacement for Sinha. Shortly afterwards, it was announced that Bipasha Basu would be reprising her role as Sonia in a cameo appearance, and continuing to be Khan's girlfriend. The movie's plot will revolve around her murder. Despite rumours suggesting that Basu will be sharing screen space with ex-boyfriend John Abraham for the first time IBN Live gave the soundtrack four stars of five saying, "Race 2's soundtrack is racy to the core. In 1858, several male slaves are being transported across Texas by the Speck brothers. In their group is Django (Jamie Foxx), who has been sold away from his wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington).
